Hello, my name is Niamh and I am a Year 6 student in Mrs. Cash's class. I am updating the blog for this week. On Sunday Mary MacKillop was canonized and became the first Australian saint, Saint Mary of the Cross. The school is very excited! We had a liturgy in honor of this lovely woman last Friday and it was fabulous. When Mrs. Cash asked me to update the blog, I thought of Mary so I have written a poem about her and have drawn some pictures to go with it! I hope you enjoy reading it! ~ Niamh ~
