In Room 17 we have been learning about Advent, the four weeks leading up to Christmas Day. We have discussed how this is a time of preparation. It is a time of preparing to celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day and preparing for when Jesus will come again. Room 17 has decorated a Jesse tree in our classroom with images of people from the Old Testament who prepared for the coming of the Messiah. We have images of Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham & Sarah, Noah, Joseph, King David, and Mary & Joseph.
