Acids, Indicators, Bases

Today the students in Room 17 carried out an experiment to find out if particular foods were acids or bases. They used red cabbage water (which was purple) as the indicator. If a food was an acid it turned red in the purple cabbage water. If it was a base the purple cabbage water turned blue. Everyone had heaps of fun and have learnt a little bit more about the foods they eat.
