On Thursday Rooms 15 & 16 visited the
Packard & Pioneer Museum.
Our tour took us through many, many innovations that have taken place in transport and also with everyday household items since the beginning of the industrial revolution.
It was fascinating to see how far innovation has taken us and to think about how different life would have been all those years ago.
A collection of items that have since undergone innovation and are very different today.
Wearable art - decorated with miniature soft toys.
Very innovative!
During lunch everyone watched a video of how some of the first cars were mass produced by Henry Ford's car company.
Whangarei, way back when it looked very different to toady. Can you recognise where this is?
What can you spot that has now undergone innovation?
