We have learnt a lot of new and interesting fun facts about kiwi, kereru, tui, tuatara, morepork, pukeko, and mokomoko,

we have learnt some great new researching skills.

Last week Kauri whanau visited Kiwi North and saw a lotos Living Taonga in, and near, the kiwi house.
Ayden had visited the Bird Recovery centre prior to our visit and sent us photos of birds that were being cared for when he visited.
The Bird Recovery centre is a good place to contact if you find injured birds who need specialist care.
